Falling Andes has been on hiatus for a long time. Key members of the band have moved to distant lands and our busy lives have gotten in the way. Falling Andes has since dwindled down to how it began—its founding members, Jordan Wood and me, Dan Peluso.
As much as we have tried to keep Falling Andes alive since our last show in June 2014, roadblock after roadblock has stood in our way and our efforts to revive the mighty Andes have not paid off. Nonetheless, Jordan and I have had enough of gasping for air. We're ready to dust off the equipment and give Falling Andes one last try.
Today we want to announce that we are planning on doing another show in 2016. However, because of certain past and future events, this may be Falling Andes last show. It won't be easy to put this together with it only being the two of us and the other life commitments that we have, but Jordan and I are committed to making it happen. We began as two, and we may very well finish this as two. This is currently on the drawing board, but let this serve as an official announcement that another show is in the works. We hope to have an update before Christmas 2015, so stay tuned!
